Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Play4inaRow, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions

3.1. Void Where Prohibited. Use of Play4inaRow (the "Service") is void where prohibited by law. The Service is intended solely for users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions herein.

3.2. Prohibited Jurisdictions. Play4inaRow does not permit the creation of accounts, processing of payments, or participation in matches by residents of, or individuals located within, specific jurisdictions due to local regulatory, privacy, and gaming restrictions. You are strictly prohibited from using the Service if you are a resident of, or physically located within, any of the following States:

• Privacy & Biometric Restrictions: Illinois, Washington, and Connecticut.
• Paid Skill Gaming Restrictions: Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Tennessee.

3.3. Geofencing Compliance. The Company utilizes automated IP verification and location-based geofencing technologies to enforce these restrictions. You agree not to circumvent, obscure, or bypass these restrictions, including through the use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), proxy servers, or other location-spoofing software. Any attempt to manipulate your true location constitutes a material breach of these Terms and will result in the immediate termination of your account and the forfeiture of any booking fees paid.

4. Hosts & Bookers

• Hosts must be at least 18 years old. Under-18s are not permitted to offer paid host appearances on Play4inaRow.
• Hosts set their own pricing. Hosts receive 80 % of the booking fee; Play4inaRow retains 20 % as a platform fee.
• Hosts must complete payout onboarding before publishing availability. Availability cannot be created until payout details are submitted and payouts are enabled.
• Stripe controls payout timing. First payouts can take 7–14 days or longer while Stripe completes checks and bank processing. Play4inaRow cannot speed up, delay, or hold Stripe payouts.
• Bookers may cancel up to 1 hour before the scheduled time for a full refund.
• No-shows by the booker forfeit the fee. No-shows by the host result in a full refund to the booker.

5. Recording & Content

• All games on Play4inaRow are automatically recorded (video, audio, and game moves).
• Recordings are available to both participants for download for up to 7 days after the match. We retain recordings internally for up to 28 days for security, dispute resolution, and legal purposes.
• By using Play4inaRow, you acknowledge and consent to being recorded during gameplay.
• Ownership. Each participant retains rights to their own likeness, voice, and contributions. No participant transfers ownership of their image, voice, or performance to the other participant by playing a match.
• Limited personal-use licence. By participating, each player grants the other a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, royalty-free licence to share the recording on their own personal social media channels, including channels that utilise platform-native ad-sharing programmes (e.g., YouTube Partner Program).
• Direct Commercial Exploitation prohibited. You may not use the media asset for Direct Commercial Exploitation, which includes: selling the video file, using the video to promote a physical or digital product, or incorporating independent third-party corporate sponsorships into the video. Any use that generates revenue, promotes a product or service, or implies endorsement — outside of platform-native ad-sharing on personal channels — is strictly prohibited without the other participant's prior written consent.
• Revocation. A participant may revoke the personal-use licence at any time by emailing us; the other participant must then take down the recording from any public platform within 7 days.
• No edits that mislead. Recordings may not be edited in a way that defames, sexualises, harasses, or materially misrepresents the other participant.
• Play4inaRow is not responsible for participants who breach this clause; the wronged participant may pursue the other directly under applicable law (including the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, copyright, and image-rights law).
• If you do not wish to be recorded, do not participate in a game.

5a. No Minors On Camera, In Audio, Or In Recordings

• Strict adults-only rule. Play4inaRow is an adults-only (18+) platform. No person under the age of 18 may appear in, be heard in, be filmed by, be photographed by, or otherwise be captured by any webcam stream, microphone stream, screenshot, or recording on the platform — whether as a host, booker, background person, family member, friend, child, sibling, passer-by, or for any other reason.
• No minors in the background. No minor may be visible or audible in the background of your stream for any reason, including your own children, step-children, or any other family members of the account holder. If a minor is in the same room or building, you must not play.
• Your responsibility. Every user is solely responsible for ensuring that no minor is visible on camera, audible on microphone, or otherwise present in any way that could be captured during a game, including in the background, in mirrors, on other screens, or through doors and windows. You must play from a private location where no minor can wander into view or be heard.
• Immediate termination. If a minor appears in any stream or recording (intentionally or unintentionally), the other participant must end the session immediately. Play4inaRow will, on becoming aware of any such incident: (i) terminate the live session; (ii) permanently delete the relevant recording from our systems; (iii) suspend or permanently ban the account(s) responsible; (iv) permanently ban the associated IP address(es) and device fingerprint(s); and (v) forfeit any pending payouts associated with the affected booking.
• Reporting to authorities. Where we believe a minor has been placed at risk, or where any content captured may constitute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or otherwise endanger a child, we will report the incident — together with associated account, payment, IP, device, and content evidence — to the relevant authorities, including the UK National Crime Agency / CEOP, the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and any other competent law-enforcement or safeguarding body, without prior notice to the user.
• No refunds. Bookings terminated under this clause are non-refundable to the offending party. The non-offending party will receive a full refund.
• Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold Play4inaRow harmless against any claim, fine, regulatory action, or third-party loss arising from your breach of this clause.
• Payment-card age signal. All paid bookings are processed by Stripe, whose cardholder terms generally require the cardholder to be 18 or older. Use of any payment instrument belonging to, or controlled by, a person under 18 is prohibited and is a material breach of these Terms.
• This clause is a material term. Breach of it will be treated as a most-serious violation of these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use Play4inaRow to transmit offensive, abusive, adult, pornographic, sexual, explicit, or illegal content via webcam, chat, profiles, recordings, or any other feature. Adult services, nudity, sexual solicitation, and explicit behaviour are prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and restrict access from IP addresses or networks that violate this policy, present security risks, or are linked to abuse.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and software are owned by Play4inaRow. You retain ownership of content you create (e.g. profile information).

8. Limitation of Liability

Play4inaRow is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Users in the United States may also be subject to applicable federal and state laws.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
